Resumen de El yacimiento del Cubío Redondo (Matienzo, Ruesga): Una estación mesoítica de montaña en Cantabria
El Sidrón es conocido desde los años sesenta por sus manifestaciones artísticas paleolíticas y el yacimiento arqueológico que esta cavi-dad contiene. En 1994 fue descubierta una amplia colección de material óseo por parte de un grupo de espeleólogos que realizaba una travesía del sis-tema. Creyendo que se trataba de restos de cadáveres de la Guerra Civil española (1936-19391, informaron a la Guardia Civil de Infiesto quien, por orden del Juzgado de esta misma localidad, procedió a su remisión al Laboratorio de Antropología del Instituto Anatómico Forense de Madrid para su estudio. Este trabajo aporta los principales datos que recogía el informe inicial presentado ala Consejería de Cultura del Principado de Asturias a comienzos del mes de noviembre de 1998, destacando la presencia de restos óseos cuyos rasgos morfológicos y características biométricas mandibulares son compatibles con la presencia de, al menos, tres individuos de la especie homo sapiens neanderihalensis, constituyendo un hallazgo antropológico y arqueológico de la máxima importancia. = Paleolithics manifestations and archaeological location of The Sidrón cave, are known from sixties. In 1994 a wide collection of bony material was discovered by a group of speleologist whom carried out a crossroad of the system. Believing that theese were human remains from the Spanish Civil War (1936-19391, this group informed to the Infiesto's Police. The Tribunal of this same location proceeded to their remission to the Laboratory of Anthropology of the Forensic Institute in Madrid for their study. This work contributes the principal data that picked up the initial report presented to the Culture Office of the Asturias Goverment in November 1998, highlighting the presence of bony remains whose morfological features and biometrics mandibulars characteristics are com-patible with the presence of, at least, three individuals of the specie homo sapiens neanderthalensis, constituting an anthropological and ar-chaeological discovery with the maximal importance. = El Sidron ezaguna da hirurogeiko hamarkadaz geroztik bertako adierazpen artistiko paleolitikoengatik eta haitzuloak daukan aztarnategi ar-keologikoagatik. 1994an, sistemaren zeharkaldia egiten ari zen espeleologo talde batek hezur-material sorta zabal bat aurkitu zuen.
