  Como continuación de un artículo anterior sobre las relaciones entre arqueología y etnología en el Proyecto Oxkintok, este artículo extiende los supuestos y la línea argumental tratados entonces, tomando como punto de partida las palabras y los hechos que oímos y observamos entre los trabajadores y otras personas indígenas durante las excavaciones realizadas en Oxkintok entre 1986 y 1991.

  Following up a previous article on the relations between archaeology and ethnology in the Oxkintok Project, the present paper expands the assumptions and line of arguments then discussed, using as starting point the words and facts we heard and observed from workers and other indigenous people during the excavations carried out at Oxkintok between 1986 and 1991
