Toponimia de Sobremonte (Huesca), III: el espacio agrícola

  • No se estudian en este artículo todos los topónimos de la comarca oscense de Sobremonte con que se nombran los numerosísimos tipos de "campos" existentes, sino sólo aquéllos que lingüísticamente indican un empleo en la designación de terrenos aprovechados para labores agrícolas. Algunos de ellos mantienen su vigencia aún en el habla viva como apelativos (artíca, campo, faja, fenar, fenero, era, tornallo, etc.), pero otros se han vuelto propios y opacos para los hablantes (Arguala, Cambíllón, Cambo, LanalLainalLagna, Nobalíbos, Patro, etc.), si bien mediante la etimología sabemos que pueden englobarse dentro de este campo asociativo = Not all the toponyms that there exist for the wide variety of "field" types in the Sobremonte area, in the province of Huesca, are studied here, but offly those which linguistically designate a piece of land destined to agricultu-ral work. Some of those terms still function as appellative nouns (artica, campo, faja, fenar, fenero, era, tornallo, etc.) but others have turned into proper names and their meaning has become obscure for the speakers (Arguala, Cambilón, Cambo, LanalLainalLagna, Nobalibos, Patro, etc.) although we know, by studying their etymology, that can be included within this sernantic field.
