  • A group of monuments is studied in this paper about which practically nothing has been written. It is a large group including three castles which constitute a unity. The site had to be studied because of a motorway which os being built between Murcia and Cartagena and which runs through one of the castles. Here are presented the results of the excavation. The inferior castle is described first with the archaeological finds because it was the only one excavated. Next the second castle is described but only on the grounds of the survey taken. Finally, some hypothetical reflections about the group as a whole are madet the undiscovered town of Ello.
