  • Here is described a fortification of late antiquity near Murcia and its archaeological context. Special emphasis is put on the basilica of Algezares. I try to describe the relationship between the fortification and the bizantine presence in the south-east and the advance of the Visigoths. Finally I describe the possibility that this fortification had some relationship wit the undiscovered town of Ello
