  • Nietzsche, in The Birth of Tragedy. is up to the point a platonic man. In this youthful work we can observe a great size of being which is not reduced to the appearance. The best proof of this is the illusion. Apollo's presence is very important in this work because it represents the illusion which disguises the Dionysius ugliness with his beauty. Nietzsche doesn't want to be separated of Dionysius and this not only implies that there is something of dualism in Nietzsche but it has priority of being over appeareance, truth over lie and Dyonisius over Apollo. It allows to speak about a relation of inequality between instinct which is different to the one that is offered by Gianni Vattimo, Agustín Izquierdo and even bianuel Barrios. Nietzsche in The Birth of Tragedy. without any shadow of doubt, is just a metaphysical thinker who hasn't take to the end the inversion of Platonism.
