Pablo Llorca (1963), belongs to the new generation of Spanish filmmakers. However, he has received neither the backing nor the honors enjoyed by his colleagues. He brings to the screen a complex and turbulent world, further refined by rigorous linguistic rhetoric. His films are highly experimental and question narrative form (a constant issue in film and literature today). Thus, he belongs to one of the most fruitful traditions in Spanish cinema: the exiles in the broadest sense of the term. In contrast to the majority of current filmmakers he is, in fact, abstract their dark side.
