The article explores current perspectives on the life and work of Luis Buñuel, taking as its point of departure the books published in Spain at the centennial celebration of his birth.
Among other question taken up is, for example, the interplay between Buñuel’s imagery and the construction of historic discourse, or the recent appearance of new interpretative abstract focuses.
