    Durante la década del 30 surgió y alcanzó su mayor fuerza el movimiento trotskista en Cuba, fenómeno hasta ahora muy poco investigado. En el presente trabajo el autor estudia el origen, auge y decadencia del Partido Bolchevique Leninista, primer partido trotskista de la Isla; analiza su estructura y funciona-miento orgánico, táctica y estrategia, prensa y propaganda, vínculos con el movimiento trotskista de otros países e influencia que recibió, especialmente de España y de los Estados Unidos. Finalmente, expone el proceso que condujo a su crisis y temprana declinación. = It was in the 1930s that the trotskyist movement in Cuba was born and reached its greatest strength. It this paper the author studies the origins, development and decadence of the Leninist Bolshevik Party (Cuban), the first trotskyist party in the Island. He also analyzes its organic structure and the way it operated, the tactics and strategy, the press and propaganda, the links with the trotskyist movement in other countries as well as the influence that it received from them, especially from Spain and the United States. Finally, the author analyzes the process that led to its crisis and decadence.
