  • Oracle Streams technology provides a seamless transfer of data from one place to another, making significant use of many Oracle features like Advanced Queuing, the ANYDATA data type, and Log Miner. In this series of articles, Darryl Hurley sheds light on the inner workings of Streams and provides insight into its usage. In this third article, he explains how advance a capture process through redo logs including the use of the elusive DBMS_LOGMNR_SESSION package.
