  • Georges Seferis (Smyrn 1900 -Athens 1971) one of the greatest poets of the Modem Greek Literature, belonging to the Generation of the 30, is usually considered as a "symbolist" poet.

    The house is a recurrent image on his poetry, weighed down with a important emotional significance. The auctor revises in this paper the poems by Seferis where the symbol of the house appears, in order to analyse his meaning in his work.
