  • This research deals with the notion «Lesbos' night», its shapes of expression and its role in Longo's romance. The conclusion is that it isn't a matter of simple temporal reference but it also has a complementary role in the mystic-religious process described in the novel (lack of qualifiers, silence, moment of pause and of the irrefutable dreams), that symbolize real facts.
