The harp. From the legacy of a simple, ancient monochord—blended with the hunting or defensive bow of primitive man, its origins is lost in the mists of time—we find ourselves in the 21st century with a magical, brilliant, and powerful instrument that, despite its long history, has not lost the primal poetry of possessing a sweet and crystalline sound. Unfortunately, the harp remains a little-known instrument, despite having been the genesis of all stringed instruments present in the most diverse cultures throughout human history, from the most primitive to the great empires, and despite having adapted to all the aesthetics of art history. However, the arrival of the piano was very detrimental to the harp, overshadowing its presence and the prestige of its long history
