The estimatedeconomic loss was higher than 2,600 million of pesos. The project objective was to define the flood risk area in theregion of Greater La Plata and build a map with risk areas.

This process has considered the relationship between the natural system, the urban infrastructure and the social environmentwhich it is developed by the factor of flooding. This work is based in analysis spatial between information that be obtained bytechniques remote sensing and statistics of social data
