Goals that were not enough to change the outcome of the match: goals that softened defeats, led to insufficient draws, or created temporary leads that did not result in victory. In this fifth installment, we review those “useless” goals from the 1932–33 season, marked by Betis Balompié’s debut in the First Division and Madrid FC’s second consecutive league title, while Deportivo Alavés was relegated after failing to overcome Valencia in the final matchday.
