    • English

«to have one's double or counterpart, one's equal and visible or invisible opposite,» this article proposes a reading of El señor de los temblores (The Lord of the Earthquakes), a book of short stories published in 2003 from several perspectives: from the purely textual aspect to the relationships that exist between the imaginary world of these fictions and the work of the ethnologist, the yanantin of the ethnologist being his other self, his love of literature and writing.
