     Este estudio examina el papel que cumple el capital social de origen de los estudiantes quienes cursan el Bachillerato Técnico en el Nivel Medio del Sistema Educativo Nacional. El objetivo general ha sido describir el papel del capital social de origen en la proyección educativa y laboral de los mismos. Se trabaja a partir del supuesto de que el capital social de origen de los estudiantes cumple un papel muy importante en la formación de la expectativa sobre su futuro educativo y laboral. La metodología aplicada sigue un diseño cualitativo, ya que se utilizó un cuestionario cerrado, para la obtención de los datos biográficos y entrevistas, tanto a estudiantes y a docentes. Entre los resultados, se tiene que, por un lado, la actitud es el componente fundamental para asumir el grado de influencia del capital social en la proyección del futuro educativo y laboral; y, por otro lado, que dependiendo de la realidad objetiva de los estudiantes puede proyectarse su posibilidad subjetiva.

    This study examines the role complied by the social capital of origin of the students whose study the technical secondary at the middle level of the national educational system. The general objective has been to describe the role of social capital of origin on the educative and labor projection. It works from the assumption that the social capital of origin of the students executes a very important role on the formation of expectation about their educative and labor future. The applied methodology follows a qualitative design because it used a closed questionnaire for obtaining the biographical data and interviews on students and teachers. Among the results we have, on the one hand, the attitude is the fundamental component for assuming the grade of influence of social capital on the projection of educative and labor future; and, on the other hand, that depending on the objective reality of students, they can project their subjective possibility.
