The bibliographic study carried out on the basis of the prevalence of Brucellosis indicate that in the different investigations of Brucella abortus, it is an infectious disease produced by bacteria of Brucella’s gender which it doesn´t present a clinical picture in cattle herds that it allows to be identified with effective precision. In the investigation that Ecuador performance shows the affectation of animals, with a higher index in sexually active adults, both in males (infertility problems) and in female bovines having abortions (this manifestation is not always a sign of brucellosis, but it is usually the most accurate), decrease of reproductive capacity, production of contaminated dairy and meat, vulnerable offspring, constituting losses for the livestock sector, since it has a condition for international exports indicating that these are important capital income for the Country. It was observed that in the different areas of the Country, the collected data reflects the degree of prevalence through different diagnostic methods, whether they are screening or confirmatory tests of the disease in non-vaccinated species, while on the other hand in the immunized they don´t occur damage. This infectious disease is present in several species, including the human known as Maltese fever, it is causing a problem in the area of public health.
