  • Coastal areas are particularly fragile contexts in which the intensification of urbanizationprocesses and the worsening effects of climate change directly impact the territory's ability to generateand maintain ecosystem services essential to collective well-being. Oriented towards the planningof sustainable ecosystem services in coastal areas, this study proposes the application of aninnovative methodology aimed at quantifying ecosystem indices representative of the factors influencingecosystem services, divided into inhibitors and drivers. The experiment was conducted inthe coastal municipalities of the Calabria and Campania Regions
