The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) represents a transformative phenomenon transcending technology, also impacting society and culture. Within this context, the press plays a key role in rigorously representing its implications, including ethical aspects. To address the media coverage of this phenomenon, this study compiles articles from 2015 to 2024 using the Factiva tool, which was used to search for the terms “Learning,” “Education,” and “Artificial Intelligence.” Subsequently, content on “ethics” was processed using the T-LAB tool to map items related to this term. The findings show that AI in education is not only a technical phenomenon, but also one with great social, political, and cultural depth. In terms of ethics, it plays a secondary role in the media debate, with only 185 references. When mentioned, it is linked to terms such as “responsibility,” “proper use,” and “regulation,” evidencing a concern for commitment to education and the demand for ethical literacy. These results highlight the importance of promoting critical reflection on the social effects of AI.
