Una discusión con el concepto de “desindustrialización” desde el caso del noreste de Chubut

    El concepto de “des industrialización” ha sido dominante como esquema para pensar los cambios que ha sufrido la economía argentina desde alrededor de 1976 hasta el comienzo del siglo XXI. En este artículo debatimos con el uso de esta perspectiva, rastreando los orígenes y presupuestos inscriptos en esa mirada, a partir del estudio de los trabajos de diversos autores, y desarrollando una mirada diferente como eje para comprender el proceso que se da en la región noreste de Chubut en los últimos años del siglo XX y los primeros del XXI.

    Centralmente discutimos con la idea de la “des industrialización” de la estructura económica, que, en conjunto con la retracción del Estado, la falta de regulaciones a la economía y la “desintegración” nacional, son los ejes de la interpretación clásica acerca de los cambios que se habrían producido en Argentina desde el dominio del capital financiero.

    Se propone la imprescindible necesidad de repensar la utilización de estos conceptos, para trabajarlos desde una perspectiva sistémica, destacando la importancia de romper con las idealizaciones que rodean al concepto de industria y/o de industrialización en Argentina.

    The concept of “deindustrialization” has been dominant as scheme to think the changes that the Argentine economy has suffered from about 1976 until the beginning of the 21st century. In this article we debate with the use of this perspective, tracing the origins and enrolled budgets in this look, from the revision of the works of several authors, and developing a different look to understand the process that development in the region Chubut’s North-East in the last years of the 20th century and the first ones of the XXIst.

    We discuss with the idea of “de industrialization” in the economic structure, that, as a whole with the retraction of the State, the lack of regulations to the economy and the national “disintegration”, are the axes of the classic interpretation about the changes that would have taken place in Argentina from the domain of the financial capital.

    This article propose the indispensable need to rethink the utilization of these concepts, them to work from a systemic perspective, emphasizing the importance of breaking with the idealizations that surrounding the concept of industry and/or of industrialization in Argentina.
