    Aunque por décadas se han producido diversos estudios sobre las juventudes y sus prácticas políticas en la Argentina, poco se ha dicho aún respecto de cómo el género modela aquella diversidad de participaciones juveniles. Este artículo explora esta vacancia, consecuencia del acotado diálogo entre los estudios feministas y el campo de indagaciones locales sobre juventud y participación política, a la vez que explora las posibles contribuciones que las reflexiones feministas sobre la política, los afectos y emociones tienen para ofrecer a dicho campo. También ensaya nuevas preguntas y recorridos investigativos que, sin perder la problematización generacional, desafíen la dicotomía entre lo público y lo privado y pongan en primer plano el orden emocional y los momentos íntimos cotidianos y hasta banales, para comprender lo político.

    Although for decades various studies have been carried out on youth and their political practices in Argentina, little has yet been said about how gender shapes the diversity of youth participation. This article explores this vacancy, a consequence of the limited dialogue between feminist studies and the local youth and political participation research field. At the same time, it explores the possible contributions that feminist reflections on politics, affections and emotions have to offer to this field. It also suggests new questions and investigative routes that, without abandoning the generational question, may challenge the dichotomy between the public and the private, while bringing to the fore the emotional order and the everyday intimate, even banal, moments, so as to understand the political.
