Interdisciplinary teaching methods actively engage students by integrating diverse fields of study, such as art into chemistry. The transition from STEM to STEAM, which incorporates the arts into technical disciplines, has been shown to enhance student motivation and deepen understanding of chemistry concepts. While existing literature often presents individual experiments, this work offers a series of interconnected modules that incorporate art into chemistry lessons, focusing on paint pigments. Accompanied by worksheets, lab handouts, and instructor guides, these modules cover key topics such as safety, nomenclature, stoichiometry, laboratory techniques, and solubility, with an optional creative module on paint-making. During classroom implementation, the instructor observed heightened student engagement and enthusiasm throughout the activities.
