For some years now, the study of the history of theater in Inca has been of some interest. These studies have focused on the past of the Teatro de Inca and the Teatro Principal and have been published coinciding with the recent renovation of the latter theater. Leisure and entertainment, since the second half of the 19th century in Inca, experienced radical changes. Leisure adapted to the emerging urban society, to the new social classes (workers and bourgeois), to the appearance of companies dedicated to leisure, to secula- rization and to the clear separation between leisure time and work time. Throughout this process, different entrepreneurs were present who risked their capital in the construction of leisure infrastructures: theaters, cinemas, sports facilities, meeting centers, etc. To shed light on these changes, this communication will identify all the owners of the Teatro de Inca and the Teatro Principal and will offer a social profile of each of them.
