  • Resumen
    • This paper offers a new examination of a hitherto misunderstood figurative ostracon from Deir el-Medina by showing that it is a copy of some scenes from the reliefs of the Divine Birth Cycle at Deir el-Bahari. This study attempts to find its historical context within the activities of Ramesses II at this temple as well as at the nearby Ramesseum. Finally, this paper includes some suggestions about the interest of this type of ostracon to approach the work of the artisans who decorated the Theban monuments.
