    La Inteligencia artificial es la ciencia que trata la comprensión de la inteligencia humana y el diseño de máquinas inteligentes; su enfoque principal se dirige al estudio y la simulación del conocimiento, la manipulación del razonamiento, la percepción, el aprendizaje y la generación de patrones del conocimiento. A partir de la Revolución Industrial el ser humano se ha caracterizado por buscar nuevas formas para realizar sus actividades; es a través de esta ciencia que inicia la aventura de conocer las capacidades de las máquinas para sustituir al hombre en tareas de alto riesgo. La evolución de la Inteligencia Artificial está dada en seis etapas: la primera con el estudio de las Redes Neurales; la segunda con la Búsqueda Heurística; la tercera con los Sistemas Expertos; la cuarta con el Aprendizaje de las máquinas, la quinta con los nuevos estudios de Redes Neurales y la sexta Micro Robótica. Sus principales campos de investigación son la Robótica, el Lenguaje Natural, los Sistemas Expertos, el Reconocimiento de Objetos, el Aprendizaje Automático, el Tratamiento Inteligente de la Información, la Programación Automática y los Juegos. Sus aplicaciones son muchas y cada día se hacen con mayor facilidad en los sectores productivos.

    Artificial Intelligence is the science that treats the understanding of the human intelligence and the design of intelligent devices such as computers. It focuses mainly on the study and the simulation of knowledge, the manipulation of the reasoning, the perception, the learning and the generation of knowledge patterns. Starting from the Industrial Revolution the human being has been characterized to look for new forms to carry out his activities.It is through this Science how the adventure begins first knowing the capacities of the machines to substitute the man in tasks on high risk, the evolution of the Artificial Intelligence this given in five stages The first one with the study of the Networks Neurals, the second with the Heuristic Search, the third with the Expert Systems, the fourth with the machines learning and the fifth the new studies on Networks Neurals. Their principal application fields are Robotics, the Natural Language, Expert Systems, recognition of Objects, Automatic Learning, Intelligent Treatment of the Information, Automatic Programming, and the Games.Their applications are many, and every day it is applied currently in the productive sectors
