    INTRODUCCIÓN: En el presente artículo se realizó una investigación para evaluar la pertinencia en la aplicabilidad de la política pública de envejecimiento humano y vejez en los ejes estratégicos 2 y 3 en dos asociaciones del municipio de villa del rosario. METODOS: Esta investigación es de tipo descriptivo ya que se encarga de recolectar información cuantificable que puede usarse para crear inferencias estadísticas, con enfoque cuantitativo puesto que soporta la información en datos numéricos e implementa el diseño de investigación de campo el cual permite obtener la información de primera mano, también es un estudio de corte transversal ya que analiza los datos recopilados en un momento determinado. La muestra fue obtenida por conveniencia no probabilístico.   RESULTADOS: El instrumento diseñado consta de 17 preguntas las cuales pertenecen a los ejes estratégicos 2 y 3 de la política pública, este fue aplicado en 30 adultos mayores y sus respuestas fueron analizadas en el software SPSS statistics 21   ANÁLISIS Y DISCUSIÓN: Los ejes estratégico-seleccionados para esta investigación fueron elegidos en el foro comunitarios contrayendo redes el reencuentro. CONCLUSIONES: Luego de la interpretación y el análisis de resultados se logró identificar que la política pública de envejecimiento humano y vejez presenta mayor cumplimiento en el eje 3 (envejecimiento activo satisfactorio y saludable) en comparación con el 2 (protección social integral). Ya que, en este se han logrado mayores metas como el fomento de la actividad física, entornos de vida saludable, fomento de estilos de vida saludable y los programas de capacitación a los adultos mayores

    INTRODUCTION: In the present article, an investigation was carried out to evaluate the relevance in the applicability of the public policy of human aging and old age in the strategic axes 2 and 3 in two associations of the municipality of Villa del Rosario. METHODS: This research is descriptive since it is responsible for collecting quantifiable information that can be used to create statistical inferences, with a quantitative approach since it supports the information in numerical data and implements the field research design which allows obtaining information from first hand, it is also a cross-sectional study since it analyzes the data collected at a certain moment. The sample was obtained for non-probabilistic convenience. RESULTS: The designed instrument consists of 17 questions which belong to the strategic axes 2 and 3 of the public policy, this was applied in 30 older adults and their answers were analyzed in the SPSS statistics 21 software. ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION: The strategic axes selected for this research were chosen in the community forum contracting networks the reunion. CONCLUSIONS: After the interpretation and analysis of the results, it was possible to identify that the public policy on human aging and old age presents greater compliance in axis 3 (satisfactory and healthy active aging) compared to 2 (integral social protection). Since, in this, greater goals have been achieved such as the promotion of physical activity, healthy living environments, promotion of healthy lifestyles and training programs for the elderly.
