Habilidades psicolingüísticas en estudiantes habitantes de frontera

    INTRODUCCIÓN: se busca comparar el desempeño en las habilidades psicolingüísticas de estudian-tes de nacionalidad venezolana y colombiana habitantes de frontera de dos instituciones educativas públicas. MÉTODOS: estudio descriptivo longitudinal con análisis de correspondencia múltiple por clúster al aplicar la prueba ILLINOIS de habilidades psicolingüísticas en su tercera versión. RESULTA-DOS: se evidencia desempeño promedio en la población participante en el compuesto lingüístico, el lenguaje oral de los estudiantes extranjeros se halla mejor, mientras que en los estudiantes de origen natural se desempeñan en el lenguaje escrito. ANÁLISIS Y DISCUSIÓN: el desempeño en las habilidades psicolingüísticas evaluadas ha mostrado homogeneidad en la muestra estudiada, esto se atribuye a la cantidad de estudiantes valorados y contrasta la literatura disponible que ha mostrado desempeño inferior en los estudiantes extranjeros. CONCLUSIONES: es importante aumentar el tamaño de la muestra para confirmar los hallazgos obtenidos

    the aim is to compare the performance in psycholinguistic abilities of students of Venezuelan and Colombian nationality frontier inhabitants of two public educational institutions. METHODS: longitudinal descriptive study with analysis of multiple correspondence by cluster when applying the ILLINOIS test of psycholinguistic abilities in its third version. RESULTS: average perfor-mance is evidenced in the population participating in the linguistic compound, the oral language of foreign students is better, while in students of natural origin they perform in written language. ANAL-YSIS AND DISCUSSION: the performance in psycholinguistic skills evaluated has shown homoge-neity in the sample studied, this is attributed to the number of students assessed and contrasts the available literature that has shown inferior performance in foreign students. CONCLUSIONS: it is important to increase the size of the sample to confirm the findings obtained
