Níveis de vinculação semântico-sintática de chega aí no português do Brasil: uma análise centrada em contextos de uso

    In this article, we survey, classify and analyze the levels of semantic-syntactic linkage of chega aí in contemporary Portuguese, based on Usage-based Language, in the terms of Rosário and Oliveira (2016) and Cezario and Furtado da Cunha (2013). We investigate the impact of contextual properties that contribute to the gradient of these uses, in terms of Bybee (2010). Based on Diewald and Smirnova (2012), we identified four contextual stages of instantiation of chega aí: the typical ones, corresponding to the prototypical verbal predicate; the atypical ones, with the occurrence of polysemy and inference; critics, in which there are multiple ambiguities, including structural ones; the isolated ones, in which an inviting function is found, at the pragmatic level of the language.

    Neste artigo, levantamos, classificamos e analisamos os níveis de vinculação semântico-sintática de chega aí no português contemporâneo do Brasil, fundamentados pela Linguística Funcional Centrada no Uso, nos termos de Rosário e Oliveira (2016) e Cezario e Furtado da Cunha (2013). Investigamos o impacto de propriedades contextuais que concorrem para a gradiência desses usos, nos termos de Bybee (2010). Identificamos, com base em Diewald e Smirnova (2012), quatro estágios contextuais de instanciação de chega aí: os típicos, correspondentes a predicado verbal prototípico; os atípicos, com ocorrência de polissemia e inferência; os críticos, em que se verificam ambiguidades múltiplas, incluindo as estruturais; os isolados, nos quais se constata função convidativa, no nível pragmático da língua.
