  • Resumen
    • The labor inclusion of people with disabilities (PWD) is an issue in which public policies play a fundamental role in achieving the objectives subscribed by the United Nations for 2030.  This report describes the implementation of a public policy through a Professional Rehabilitation Service of a national rehabilitation institute, whose objective was to promote the employability and inclusion, both labor and educational, of PWD through training and on-the-job training. A program called Work Training Actions (EPT) was implemented, financed by the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security of the Nation during the period 2017 to 2020. The 324 participants received training in theoretical and practical aspects of work activity on the following professional families: administrative training and customer service, art, crafts, agricultural training and textile training. The social, economic and educational context of PWD represented a challenge to overcome in daily practice, making accessibility a relevant aspect to work on PWD with motor deficiencies. Conclusions: The application of this type of programs is essential to achieve the objectives of socio-labor inclusion of PWD.
