Pampa Arán, entre la divulgación y la producción categorial

    Este artículo describe parte de la trayectoria de Pampa Arán, figura central del campo académico argentino tal como se configuró entre fines del siglo XX y principios del XXI. Para ello retomo parte de los resultados obtenidos en una investigación centrada en la institucionalización de los estudios literarios en Argentina y su internacionalización entre 1958 y 2015. El análisis combina un doble plano: por un lado, el de los datos empíricos; por el otro, el de la “intencionalidad de los actores” (Pinto, 2015). Dicho en otros términos: una interpretación de resultados cuantitativos extraídos de una base de datos construida con currículums de 188 agentes del subcampo se combina con una interpretación de las respuestas a una entrevista semiestructurada a dichos agentes. Se realizaron 151 entrevistas. Datos y “cuentos” se intersectan a los efectos de enriquecer el análisis de los procesos de institucionalización de los estudios literarios y de su internacionalización: examino articulaciones, desarticulaciones, agregados, solapamientos, insistencias, etc., entre las autofiguraciones de lxs agentes respecto de su papel en dichos procesos y sus prácticas efectivas. En este marco caracterizo las prácticas y las fantasías de nano-intervención de Arán.

    This article describes part of the trajectory of a key figure of the Argentinian academic field between the end of the XX Century and the beginning of the XXI Century: Pampa Arán. In order to reach this objective I take part of the results obtained in a research-project about the processes of institutionalization of literary studies in Argentina, and their internationalization between 1958 and 2015. Two different levels of analysis are combined: on the one hand, the empirical data; on the other, that of the “intentionality of the actors” (Pinto 2015). In other words: an interpretation of the quantitative data extracted from a database created with the curricula vitae of 188 subfield agents is combined with an interpretation of the answers given in semi-structured interviews with said agents. A total of 151 interviews were conducted. Facts and “stories” are brought together to enrich the analysis of the processes of institutionalization of literary studies and their internationalization: I observe articulations, disarticulations, aggregates, overlaps, insistences, etc., between the self-figurations of the agents with respect to the processes of institutionalization and internationalization and their actual practices. In this frame I characterize the practices and the fantasies of nano-intervention of Pampa Arán.
