    INTRODUCCIÓN: El objetivo de esta revisión es comprender el proceso copernicano, su significado y su relevancia en la actualidad. MÉTODO: Se utilizó el paradigma interpretativo y la técnica histórico-crítica, partiendo del estudio de la historia del tema. Se emplearon fuentes secundarias como libros, artículos y sitios web. RESULTADO: El proceso copernicano sigue siendo relevante gracias a los avances científicos que permiten una mejor comprensión del universo y del hombre. Además, supone un ejemplo por su ruptura con el pensamiento predominante en su momento y enseña a cuestionar y analizar todo bajo juicio crítico para alcanzar la realidad de las cosas. CONCLUSIÓN: El proceso copernicano marcó un hito histórico al replantear la concepción del hombre y contrastar el pensamiento tradicional con el avance de la ciencia, suponiendo un gran desafío para la Iglesia en aquel entonces.

    INTRODUCTION: The objective of this review is to understand the Copernican process, its meaning, and relevance today. METHOD: The interpretative paradigm and the historical-critical technique were used, starting from the study of the history of the subject; secondary sources such as books, articles, and websites were also used. RESULT: The Copernican process is still relevant thanks to scientific advances that allow a better understanding of the universe and mankind. In addition, it sets an example due to its split from the predominant thinking at the time and teaches us to question and analyze everything under critical judgment to reach the reality of things. CONCLUSION: The Copernican process marked a historical milestone by rethinking the conception of man and contrasting traditional thought with the progress of science, posing a great challenge to the Church at that time.
