  • The study examined the characteristics of proenvironmental behaviors in 274 residentsfrom Mexico City. Ten Likert-type scales were completed during the interview and theresults indicate that water conservation is viewed as the most important action, followedby power conservation and recycling. Situational conditions, locus of control and selfdeterminationare suggested as relevant antecedent factors.
