Los arenales costeros de la provincia de Murcia: mineralogía y granulometría de sus arenas

  • A series of coastal sand pits have been studied, corresponding to beaches and dunes of the province of Murcia between San Pedro del Pinatar and the beach of Aguilas, including those along the Mar Menor . The techniques of mineralogical and granulometric sand analysis were applied . The mineral associations, their origin and alterations is shown; and also the statistical parameters of these sand-pits and their sorting have been studied . With the paper are some tables and graphs with general considerations about the results obtained.
