This paper considers the study of the worship of Jupiter Optimus Maximus attending two aspects: on the one hand the votive inscriptions, on the other onomastic and juridical status of worshippers. Twenty-seven dedications reveal some definitive facts which distinguish the peculiar cult of IOM in this area: its expansion by terriroria out from municipio, and coloniae; the absence of Capitolia; the importance of native onomastic elements, the weight of peregrini, etc.
