    Este artículo analiza al arte de Nyota Inyoka atendiendo a la necesidad de incorporar una narrativa emocional a los estudios de historia del arte y de la danza. Para ello, la investigación parte del análisis de la carga material, corporal y emocional del fondo Nyota Inyoka conservado en la Biblioteca Nacional de France. Estos vestigios facilitan una aproximación al proceso creativo de la bailarina por contacto, tomando en consideración tanto la carga afectiva del archivo, como el proceso de construcción identitaria performado por Inyoka. El análisis de la actividad manual e íntima asociada a la recopilación de documentación emprendida por la propia artista desde los inicios de su carrera facilita una lectura de su vida-obra desde dimensiones afectivas que conectan la práctica dancística, el cuerpo y las emociones con un conocimiento espiritual de orden esotérico perceptible tanto en su trabajo teórico y coreográfico como en su concepción de la existencia.

    This article examines the art of Nyota Inyoka by highlighting the importance of incorporating an emotional narrative into Art History and Dance Studies. The research analyzes the material, corporeal, and emotional dimensions of the Nyota Inyoka collection preserved at the French National Library. These elements enable an exploration of the dancer’s creative process through direct engagement, considering both the emotional weight of the archive and the identity construction performed by Inyoka. The study of manual and private activities associated with the documentation collected by the artist herself since the start of her career offers an interpretation of her life-work from affective perspectives that link dance practice, body, and emotions with a spiritual understanding of an esoteric nature, evident in both her theoretic and choreographic work and her worldview.

    Artikulu honek Nyota Inyokaren artea aztertzen du, kontuan izanik artearen eta dantzaren historiari buruzko ikerketek behar duten narratiba emozionala. Horretarako, Frantziako Liburutegi Nazionalean gordetzen den Nyota Inyoka funtsaren zama materialaren, gorputzezkoaren eta emozionalaren azterketa du abiapuntu azterketak. Aztarnok aukera ematen dute dantzariaren prozesu sortzailera hurbiltzeko, kontaktu bidez, aintzat hartuz hala artxiboaren karga afektiboa, nola identitatea eraikitzeko prozesua (Inyokak berak jokatua).
