  • Resumen
    • Managing complications of insulin pumps requires a collaborative approach with patients (or parents of pediatric patients). Clearly communicate who is responsible for insulin delivery.

Insulin pumps should not be exposed to radiation.

Pancreas transplant has the highest rate of surgical complications of all routinely performed solid organ transplant procedures.

Acute graft dysfunction can have a subtle presentation and, therefore, have a low threshold to image patients with pancreas transplant.
