Resumen de Divisions within Divisions: text typologies and the "literary" text
The following article deals with text typology and the frequently over-general terms employud to denote a variety of text types. This discussion necessarily invol-ves the vexed question of the division between the literary and non-literary text. The questions of -style-, -register-, « functions» and -fields- of discourse are dis-cussed and the questionable advisability of neat categorisation is dealt with.
