    A través de este trabajo queremos ofrecer un ejemplo de la aplicación del software esta- dístico al estudio del repertorio para flauta y sus variedades principales —flauta dulce y flauta travesera— en la corte de Madrid desde finales del siglo XVII hasta el año 1778. Para ello, partiremos de la fuente primaria a partir de la cual se han extraído una serie de datos que han sido procesados con SPSS con el fin de obtener gráficos descriptivos que permitan hacer un mejor análisis de la información. A modo de introducción, presenta- remos en primer lugar los archivos a partir de los cuales se han extraído las referencias y los datos asociados a las mismas. En segundo lugar, definiremos las variables de análisis a aplicar en los repertorios localizados. Finalmente, presentaremos algunos resultados generales obtenidos a partir de las variables: año-década-departamento, término, clave, armadura-tonalidad, matices, género musical y compositores.

    Through this work we want to offer an example of the application of statistical software to the study of the repertoire for flute and its main varieties —recorder and transverse flute— in the court of Madrid from the end of the seventeenth century until the year 1778. To do this, we will start from the primary source from which a series of data have been extracted and processed with SPSS in order to obtain descriptive graphs that allow a better analysis of the information. By way of introduction, we will first present the files from which the references have been extracted and the data associated with them. Second, we will define the analysis variables to be applied in the localized repertoires. Finally, we will present some ge- neral results obtained from the variables: year-decade-department, term, key, key signature- tonality, nuances, musical genre and composers.
