Análisis de la industria aeroespacial en México mediante el método de agrupación HDBSCAN (2018-2024)

    Uno de los principales sectores en México es el aeroespacial, el cual ha presentado crecimientos anuales promedio cercanos al 14%, los cuales superan en casi 6 veces el crecimiento anual de la economía mexicana. Esto se debe a que el sector se considera de alta tecnología ya que incluye el desarrollo de satélites y naves espaciales. Por lo anterior, el objetivo de esta investigación es conocer de forma robusta la dinámica del sector mencionado, ello a partir de una investigación histórica del surgimiento de este. Se analizan cifras relevantes a nivel nacional e internacional a través de un análisis descriptivo, consolidando el documento con un análisis de agrupación HDBSCAN, mismo que permite identificar en qué fechas las variables del INEGI relacionadas con el sector presentan comportamientos comparables. Los resultados son destacados ya que se captura adecuadamente el periodo de la pandemia y la nueva normalidad. Se identifican 4 grupos en 7 años, lo que muestra que el sector es susceptible a cambios de mediano plazo. Se observa además que, en promedio, el sector se mantiene en un grupo durante 23 meses antes de cambiar a un comportamiento diferente. Esto subraya la necesidad de una mayor organización y visión conjunta en el mediano y largo plazo, que debe ser atendida por las empresas que componen el sector y por el gobierno para adaptarse de manera adecuada a las necesidades de dicha industria.

    One of the main sectors in Mexico is aerospace, which has presented an average annual growth of close to 14%, which exceeds the annual growth of the Mexican economy by almost 6 times. This is because the sector is considered a high-tech sector, which includes the development of satellites and spacecraft. Therefore, the objective of this research is to know robustly the dynamics of the aerospace sector based on a historical investigation of its emergence. Relevant figures at the national and international levels are analyzed through descriptive analysis, consolidating the document with an HDBSCAN grouping analysis, which allows identifying on which dates the INEGI variables related to the sector present comparable behaviors. The results are notable since the pandemic period and the new normal are adequately captured. Four clusters were identified in 7 years, which shows that the sector is susceptible to medium-term changes. It is also observed that, on average, the sector remains in a cluster for 23 months before changing to a different behavior. This highlights the need for greater organization and joint vision in the medium and long term, which must be addressed by the companies that make up the sector and the government to adequately adapt to the needs of said industry.
