El estudio aborda la creación de las primeras cátedras de historia del derecho italiano y la evolución de estos estudios hasta la llegada del fascismo. El autor distingue tres períodos en la configuración de esta disciplina y puntualiza la función que tuvo en los planes de estudio y en la formación del Estado unitario.

This research addresses the creation of the first chairs in Italian Legal History and traces the evolution of this subject matter from its inception through the onset of fascism. The author identifies three periods in the development of this discipline and highlights the role that it played in the curriculum and in the formation of the Unitary State.
