En la campaña de excavación arqueológica del año 1998, en la necrópolis altomedieval de San vicente Mártir de Argüeso (Cantabria), se descubrieron dos tumbas de lajas individuales con los restos esqueléticos de un hombre y una mujer de edad adulta que son estudiados antropológicamente y contextualizados en su época. Su datación, a través de 14C-AMS, los sitúa, respectivamente, en torno al siglo X y XII.
During the archaeological excavations carried out in the early medieval necropolis of San Vicente Mártir in Argüeso (Cantabria) in 1998, two individual slab graves were discovered. The skeletal remains of a man and a woman fo adult age were found in these tombs and were studied anthropologically and contextualised in their period. The 14C-AMS testing of these remains yielded dates in approximately the 10th and 12th centuries, respectively.
