    El 30 de agosto de 2009, Bruno Jiménez Cabrera pronunció esta conferencia en el ciclo que se inauguró ese año llamado “Santa María con otros ojos”, organizado por los responsables de la Iglesia parroquial mayor de Santa María de la Encarnación. Concretamente, el ciclo de conferencias fue organizado por el párroco Antonio Fajardo Ruiz. Los otros dos ponentes fueron Jesús Daniel Laguna Reche (historiador) y Lara Moreno Muñoz (abogada).Bruno Jiménez Cabrera, nacido en Huéscar, se centró en la historia y el arte de la Iglesia de Santa María, entrelazando estos temas con sus recuerdos de Huéscar, en su infancia y juventud.

    On August 30, 2009, Bruno Jiménez Cabrera gave this lecture at the cycle that was inaugurated that year called "Santa María con otros ojos", organized by the heads of the main parish church of Santa María de la Encarnación. Specifically, the cycle of conferences was organized by the parish priest Antonio Fajardo Ruiz. The other two speakers were Jesús Daniel Laguna Reche (historian) and Lara Moreno Muñoz (lawyer). Bruno Jiménez Cabrera, born in Huéscar, focused on the history and art of the Church of Santa María, intertwining these themes with his memories of Huéscar, in his childhood and youth.
