  • Happy New Year! I hope that this issue of The Physics Teacher brings a smile to your face, even while it informs and inspires you … and maybe challenges you, as well. Artificial intelligence (AI) is on my mind a lot these days, and so I am taking this opportunity to announce a call for papers on “AI and Ethics in Introductory Physics.” Do you have insights born out of your experiences with AI in the classroom that you’re ready to share with other physics teachers? If so, then please consider crafting a manuscript on the subject for submission to TPT by June 1, 2026.
