Un fantasma recorre el constructivismo postfeminista: la «esencia» de la mujer

    Bajo la hegemonía del lingüisticismo posmoderno y sus derivas queer, la esencia ontológica de la mujer resultó ser un constructo discursivo de control y uniformidad social, un ideal normativo estigmatizante de los sujetos hablantes que no respondan a sus imperativos. Esta narrativa de corte sociologicista explica la cruzada antiesencialista y desontologizante del constructivismo cultural. El presente artículo intentará mostrar las falacias y falsos supuestos de este relato postfundacional, que oculta un fundacionalismo socio-lingüístico. A falta de un sentido ontológico realista, la narrativa posmoderna termina por vaciar de contenido objetivo sus representaciones y esencializar a cambio los estereotipos sociales más opresivos e injustos. Nuestra crítica al constructivismo postfeminista se basará en algunos principios de los nuevos realismos especulativos, los cuales ya han advertido sobre el desenlace violento y autoritario de las ficciones posmodernas.

    Under the hegemony of postmodern linguistics and its queer drifts, the ontological essence of a woman turned out to be a discursive construct for social control and uniformity, a normative ideal that stigmatizes linguistic subjects who do not respond to its imperatives. This sociological narrative explains the anti-essentialist and de-ontologizing crusade of cultural constructivism. The present article aims at showing the fallacies and false assumptions of this post-foundational narrative, which indeed conceals socio-linguistic foundationalism. Lacking a realistic ontological sense, the postmodern account ends up emptying the objective content of its representations and essentializing instead the most oppressive and unfair social stereotypes. My critique of postfeminist constructivism is based on some principles of the new speculative realisms, which have already warned about the violent and authoritarian outcome of postmodern fictions.
