This paper analyses the phenomena of the diffusion of the Pallas-Athena/Minerva image on the provincial coinage minted by Emporiae. In order to achieve our objectives, I present a study that starts from the considerations proposed by other authors and I try to deepen certain aspects that have not attracted the attention of researchers. Thus, in the first part, I reflect on the origin and first evolution of this typological proposal. In the second part, I study the main aspects that determined the process of projection of the Empuritanian monetary icons in the new identity context of the end of the 1st century BCE and the beginning of the following century
