    ¿Qué caracteriza a nuestro presente político? ¿Son suficientes las categorías de “post democracia” (Crouch, 2004, p. 20) o posfascismo” (Traverso, 2018,p. 147) para nombrarlo? El prefijo “post” señala una fuga hacia adelante, el declive de algo, y también la dificultad para anticipar lo por venir. En este último sentido, como afirma Mario Tronti, “la moda del ‘post’ revela tan sólo la incapacidad de definir la fase política contingente. Es un defecto del pensamiento” (Tronti, 2022). Tomando esta advertencia buscaremos, a través de la obra de Mario Tronti, habitar el deterioro de la democracia del siglo XXI. El objetivo es reflexionar sobre aquello que cae, se pierde y fragiliza en la transición compleja entre el trágico siglo XX y el farsesco XXI. A partir de sus textos es posible reconstruir un programa incesante de crítica a la democracia capitalista y burguesa: una crítica político-institucional, societal y antropológica.

    What characterizes our political present? Are the categories of “post-democracy” (Crouch, 2004,p. 20) or “post-fascism” (Traverso, 2018,p. 147) sufficient to describe it? The prefix “post” indicates a flight forward, the decline of something, and also the difficulty of anticipating what is to come. In this latter sense, as Mario Tronti states, “the fashion for ‘post’ reveals only the inability to define the current political phase. It is a defect of thought” (Tronti, 2022). Taking this warning into account, we will seek, through the work of Mario Tronti, to inhabit the deterioration of democracy in the 21st century. The aim is to reflect on what is falling, being lost, and becoming fragile in the complex transition between the tragic 20th century and the farcical 21st century. Based on his texts, it is possible to reconstruct a relentless program of criticism of capitalist and bourgeois democracy: a political-institutional, societal, and anthropological critique.
