    Objetivo principal: analizar el impacto de las técnicas de reproducción humana asistida en la salud sexual y emocional de las mujeres sometidas a dichas técnicas y describir las diversas variables que pudieran influir en él. Metodología: estudio transversal con 271 mujeres atendidas en la Unidad de Reproducción del Hospital Universitario La Paz (Madrid). Resultados: el 74,9 % (n = 203) presentó alteraciones en alguna esfera sexual, asociadas a edad, procedencia, tiempo en tratamiento y número de intentos previos. La ansiedad aumentó al 22,4 % durante el tratamiento, especialmente en fecundación in vitro, en mujeres con endometriosis y tras intentos fallidos. Conclusiones: las TRHA repercuten negativamente en la esfera afectivo sexual y emocional; es urgente implementar intervenciones enfermeras para prevenir y detectar estos efectos.

    Objective: to analyze the impact of assisted reproductive techniques on the sexual and emotional health of women undergoing these techniques and to describe the various variables that may influence it. Methods: cross-sectional study with a sample of 271 women undergoing assisted reproductive techniques at the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid. Results: 74.9% (n=203) showed alterations in some sexual spheres, correlating with the patient's age, origin, duration of treatment, and previous attempts. Anxiety increased to 22.4% during treatment, being higher in in vitro treatments compared to artificial inseminations, in women with endometriosis, and in patients with previous failed attempts. Conclusions: assisted reproductive treatments cause alterations in the affective-sexual sphere of patients, making it important to implement interventions to prevent and/or detect negative effects.
