Artikulu honetan 1960ko hamarkadatik 2000. urtera arteko Euskal Herrian izandako migrazio espainiarra ulertzeko emozioen azterketa baliagarria dela defendatzen da. Melankolia, lotsa eta ilusio utopikoa bezalako hiru emozioetatik abiatuta, aldi horretarako subjektu migratzailearen eraikuntza aztertuko da. Ahozko elkarrizketak eta emozioen analisi historikoa azterketa tresnak izango dira.

This article aims to argue that the study of emotions is a valid way to understand Spanish migrations in the Basque Country between the 1960s and 2000. Based on the example of three emotions: melancholy, shame and utopian illusion, the construction of the migrant subject in that period will be analysed. Oral interviews and analysis from the perspective of the history of emotions will be used as tools for the analysis.
