Ikerketa honek euskal nazionalismoaren eta generoaren arteko elkarreraginak aztertzea du helburu, eta, horrela, nazio eta nazionalismoaren ikerketetan genero ikuspegia integratzearen garrantzia azpimarratzea. Doktoretza tesiaren forma izango duen ikerketa honetan, Euskal Herrian emakume abertzaleek subjektu gisa nazioaz duten ikuspegia aztertuko da, bereziki, nazioa nola ulertzen eta bizi duten, eta zein diskurtso eraikitzen dituzten. Halaber, euskal mugimendu nazionalistaren baitan emakumeen parte-hartzea eta rolak ere aztertuko dira, baita feminismoek horietan duten eragina ere. Azterketa honek, emakumeen narratibetatik, nazionalismoaren eta generoaren arteko harremana ulertzeko hutsunea bete nahi du, akademia zein gizarte mailan.
This research aims to explore the interactions between Basque nationalism and gender, emphasizing the importance of integrating a gender perspective into the study of nations and nationalism. Designed as a doctoral thesis, this study will examine how nationalist women in the Basque Country perceive the nation as subjects, focusing on how they understand and experience the nation, as well as the discourses they construct. Additionally, it will investigate women’s participation and roles within the basque nationalist movement, alongside the influence of feminist movements on these dynamics. Centering women’s narratives, this research seeks to address a gap in understanding the relationship between nationalism and gender, both in academia and in broader society.
